Renewal of Vehicle Registration in Alaska
Every vehicle is assigned an expiration date when it is first registered. This is retained when ownership of the vehicle changes.If a vehicle registration has been expired for less than a full year, the full biennial fee is charged starting with the month when the registration expired.
